Talking about setting yourself on fire to keep others warm made me imagine a vampire and their human s.o. stuck in the mountain wilderness without supplies and instead of turning the human so they don’t freeze, the vampire sticks their hand out in the sun so it catches fire and can be used as a heat source. I blame (thank?) your influence for this entire idea.

“I only need one hand anyway.”
