There’s a lot of negative posts going around, not intentionally negative but highlighting the issues at hand – they are doing their job, but let’s not forget the light and the good that still prevails. And it does – I promise you that – because, fundamentally, people are good.
Let’s celebrate black people, who made history! This is so important to know that some of us didn’t give up and were strong enough to achieve something great like this. These stories are inspirational , but we don’t see them in our history books. Even though she was told women can’t go into space, she never stopped believing in her dreams.
We need more stories like this to be revealed. These “Hidden Figures” we never knew about have done so much that we can’t even imagine. And noone knows about them! People need to know their heroes. This is one more story , where we see the miracle when a black person is given a chance to shine. Incredible story. I want a movie about this ,too.
