A season’s worth of training has come down to this – the world’s best skaters will converge this week on Helsinki, Finland, for the last World Championships before the 2018 Olympic Winter Games. Not only will skaters fight for a coveted spot on the podium, their placements at Worlds will also determine how many athletes their federation can send to the Olympics next season.
